RJ Diaz has collaborated with world-class architects, designers, engineers, technicians and artisans to deliver high-end custom residential and commercial interiors in New York City as well as Chicago, San Francisco, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas and Honolulu.

After more than 20 years as a construction manager and general contractor in New York City, RJ relocated to the Sarasota area in 2016. In 2019, RJ received his license as a Certified General Contractor and founded Modus Builders on the principle of craft+beauty. 

 

The Bank of Tampa is a privately held community bank in Sarasota, Bradenton and the Tampa Bay area. We focus on relationships with our clients. I handle personal lending for mortgages, home equity, cars, and boats. The bank also works closely for financing of owner occupied businesses and real estate. I have worked in Sarasota area for over 25 years at various banks. I enjoy golfing and boating and fishing in my free time. I look forward to helping you and your business to grow in the future. 

Professionally, I am very diverse. I am well trained in all aspects of smart home control in regards to
automation as well as a whole home AV solutions. My industry experience focuses on
custom (Luxury) AV system design, home theater design, cabling infrastructure systems, home integration
and distributed video/audio systems. I am also trained and certified in lighting design with a
concentration in Crestron, Lutron HWQS and Control 4 Centralized lighting systems.

I have many years of industry experience with a strong focus on design, integration and installation
of custom home AV systems and automation of low voltage systems from labor to engineering and
project management, from inception to completion.

I am fluent in most CAD software programs but most of my expertise is with AutoCAD and DTools
(Visio). I am familiar with and trained in using Revit and SketchUp.
 

As an Outside Sales Representative at Ferguson, I develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers, while working with other branch associates to ensure happiness with our products and services.  I identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our current customer base.  I use our Customer Relationship Management tool for ongoing evaluation of the new business pipeline and measurement of sales closure results.

I provide product-specific solutions for our customers through quotation.  I also assist with product specification through job site visits and on-/off-site meetings.

I build lasting relationships with customers by attentively following up on inquiries and purchases. I also acquire and maintain sufficient product knowledge and strive to continually increase my knowledge base. I participate in on and offsite meetings, trainings, and events as required.
