Networking 5:30-6:30 followed by dinner, MSBIA updates and guest speaker Dave Sanford, Deputy Executive Director of Port Manatee.

Deputy Executive Director of Port Manatee
Mr. Sanford assists the Executive Director in port operations, maintenance, security and overall harbor management. He also assists the Executive Director in trade development, special projects and new infrastructure planning.
Mr. Sanford brings to Port Manatee a combined 40 plus years of experience with the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) where he served as Director of Navigation Policy and Legislation and the Army Corps of Engineers at the district, division and headquarters levels. During his time at the Corps, he served in the Senior Executive Service as Chief of Civil Works Policy as well as Chief of the Interagency and International Services Division; providing the Corps’ engineering services to other Federal agencies and foreign governments.ts
